My Reflection (week1)

              hmm.. this is my 1st week in Singapore and also my 1st week to come and study in my favorite school , which is NAFA. I am an International student from Indonesia. I think Nafa is a good school , with a complete facilities to enlarge our understanding towards our own major. in the 1st week , i am put in VA1K class.  Well actually , I didnt expect that on the 1st week of school there will be homework to do  haha. but I think the homework its quite fun too thou. I am enjoying the homework that is given, because I am doing what I like. Well , after a week I am loving NAFA even more and also I am not regret to come to NAFA!!

            At the first week of school , i actually have a mix feeling which is some kind of nervous and also excited to meet new friends and in a new environment. In Creative thinking class , the teacher told us to form three until four member in a group. With all of the members are from different nationality. My group have four members in total. which is Me ,Rizal , Lydia and also Ben. After forming a group , now we are suppose to tell our hobbies , interests  and also our usual habits. And as our homework in the first week, we should make the points as a story and write it in our blog. we also need to research the relation between creativity and play. The other interesting homework is , we need to have 1 hour journey to didnt use our phone and try to observe what surrounds you.

My One Hour Journey :)

Here are photos for roughly an hour journey, i did it without activing my mobile data and  not listening music. This is to make my senses sensitive to my surrounding environment.

when i passed this place , i felt that this place is so stinky, i really want to close my nose .

 Because there was a drained besides me.

There are some birds in this place, but i only took have a chance to take a picture of one bird only.

 It sounds great to listen to their voice in the morning.

The building contains more soft color such as blue , white , brown , and pink. only the left side building contains a red and white color , which red is not a soft colour.

I just realise that in this side street have a lots flag , that is so colourful. it is decorated for SG50.

not only get to see lines of beautiful flag. i also get to touch the flags. it feels so smooth.

i just found that in here , there are beautiful flowers. pink one! it is my favourite colour!

i just realise that there is that kind of box shape in the street.

The story of my group :)

This are the documentation of points
that we made it up into a story.

Last Thursday, it was a normal school day. Teacher gave Ben's group an activity to do. The activity is to know their friends well - liked things and their habits. Ben was shy to ask but he was competitive not to lose. He asked his group.

Rizal, Who has just finished his National service (N.S), said he loves riding his bike. He is an expert when riding a bike. It is very convenient to go to places with bike too. Rizal has a part time job to deliver pizzas. He enjoys delivering pizza because it is exciting. He gets to meet a lot of people and the job benefits him. In conclusion, he feels relieve and more focus about his future after finishing N.S.

Next, Lydia loves to play piano. To her, music can cheer her up when she feels low - spirited. Lydia is sporty. She plays all kind of sports. One of the sports she enjoys the most is volleyball. It keeps her  healthy. She has a talent in art. She loves drawing because it can express her feelings through drawing.

After, Nathania share that she have a 15th years younger sister. Her sister is cute. This builds up her interest in little kids, she enjoys taking care of them. She has a sweet tooth which makes her loves snacks and desserts. She hates eating some vegetables as they have strange taste. However, Ben, who eats vegetables, thinks that all vegetables have their nutritional values. We should be eating vegetables, it is good for our bodies. Example: Rabbit eats carrot which majority people dislike. However, carrot are essential to rabbits. It is their food source. We should get use to the taste of the vegetables. It is good for our growth and health. Ben do agree with Nathania's habit because he is afraid of eating seafood but he is overcoming it. He is eating prawns now.

On the other hand, Ben has a passion for floral as it keeps him fit. School starts, playing more sports would mean releasing more stress. He learnt photoshop since secondary two, he has the fundamental skill to do photoshop. Lastly, Ben loves games. He is competitive because he loves the feeling of winning. He does not mind losing. The spirit of sportsmanship.

PLAY & CREATIVITY ?

Play and Creativity ? Do you think it has a strong relationship? Do it really relates to one another?

okay , first let us breakdown what is the meaning of  play and creativity ?

PLAY : An activity for enjoyment or recreation purpose, not a serious purpose
CREATIVITY : Where something new and somehow valuable is formed , not mainstream. 

       Creative play can comes from music , movement , singing , instrument playing , art things and many more. By the two important terms, imagination is needed. When a kid play a block , it needs her/his imagination to make a castle . and when you told by your teacher to be creative to do your art work , the first thing to do is to imagine “if I do it like this, would it be creative enough?

           Imaginary play happens when children use their imaginations to create pretend and make-believe scenarios. Children can engage in this type of play using small toy figures, puppets, dolls, or stuffed animals for example. Or children can act out a particular role themselves and become a part of a play drama. Often, dressing up and using props will be part of this kind of imaginary play. In here they play and also being creative , just like the picture under. Nathania's sister (Me) are playing with her crown and wand she is imagining to be a princess, which shows a strong relation between play and creative.

These are also the example when creativity of a child on her moves are being applied in her dance moves. Even thous she is still 3 years old. But she really creative creating her own dance move and in the same time playing and move move shake shake her body to elaborate with the ryhthm in the music.
